New Titles from SAS Press Include “The Little SAS Book, 5th Edition”

Many new titles are available from SAS Press, including the Fifth Edition of “The Little SAS Book,” by Lora Delwiche and Susan Slaughter, who are both well known to SVSUG members.  Long-time Davis residents, Lora and Susan have given many presentations at our meetings and at many other events for SAS users.  Susan has her own consulting firm, Avocet Solutions, and is currently a member of the Western Users of SAS Software Executive Committee.  Lora in a SAS Programmer at UC Davis.

The “Little SAS Book” series now includes five texts for users of SAS programming/syntax tools and three for users of the Enterprise Guide point-and-click interface.  They are the worldwide bestselling books on SAS Software and frequently serve as the new user’s first introduction to how apply SAS tools to their data.  Among the new features in LSB 5^th edition a full chapter of ODS Statistical Graphics, sections on linguistic sorting, and how to combine Macro variable values with other text.  For more information, see https://support.sas.com/pubscat/bookdetails.jsp?catid=1&pc=65423.

SAS Global Forum 2013 April 28-May 1 in San Francisco
